Anne Costa was born and raised in Thailand and migrated to Norfolk, Virginia at the age of 11. A daughter of artists and imbued with a sense of wanderlust, Anne has studied at various institutions including Virginia's Governor's School for the Arts, San Francisco Art Institute, Burapha University in Thailand (studying folk-art) and finally Washington University in Saint Louis where she earned her BFA in Illustration and Motion Graphics.
Anne currently resides in Los Angeles, California where she is continuing the second year of her Masters program in Production Design at the American Film Institute Conservatory.
Anne is happy that she found a field that finally codifies her seemingly scattered training in the arts. In her spare time, she mentally travels the world and revises her Oscar acceptance speech.
